I agree. The 34-A was made in 1925. Evidently, George Clarke's thinking the device in the DVD was a cell phone, didn't do much looking before declaring the person with the device might be a "time traveler". Who would a time traveler be calling with a cell phone in 1930s anyway? (No cell phone towers back then) I noticed at the end of his YouTube clip, George also adds his own promo to encourage people to see his movies. ;D
Interestingly, the video seems to be attracting a lot of chatter. Looking at it again, it's really difficult to see if the person is actually holding anything. It's possible the person is using the hand to avoid the glare of the sun. It does appear the person is talking at the point of somewhat turning in the direction of the camera. Perhaps the person is loopy and talking to herself, or simply notices the camera and says something to no one in particular.
Check out those shoes. They look like antique clown shoes. I caught a brief glimpse of the nose, which looks pretty long, although that could be a digital artifact of two frames merged.
Here's a shorter version without having to go through George Clark's long drawn out yammering.
...Strawberry fields. Nothing is real. And nothing to get hung about...
You are right. When you look at the slow motion blown up version, at the end it looks like the person is holding nothing in the hand. It looks like the person is shielding against the sun or wind. As far as talking, it was a silent film, so the person could be talking to one of the crew.
In short, there are a number of plausible explanations for what is happening, but some people commenting on it are just like the PIDDERs. They go for the most outlandish, improbable explanations. I saw one person said the cell tower argument was no good, because the time travelers probably brought their own satellites back in time with them. LOL! So how did they get them up there? Wouldn't the astronomers back then have noticed a bunch of new artificial satellites? Or did they also bring cloaking devices? And if their technology is that advanced, couldn't they bring some handless device, like maybe implants, rather than a hand held cell phone that would be noticed by everyone close by? Give me a break.

chantal: HELP! I distinctly remember seeing an animated GIF in someone's signature, of Paul saying "stupid". I'd like to nick that one for my Beatles GIFs Pinterest board. Where can I find it?

aieahaole48: LOVE YOUR HUMOR RE THE PAUL/'FAUL' ISSUE! First time I've laughed out loud since I was widowed in 2012. YES, the pic of Paul with the black woman was from '66, during the Beatles U.S. tour - she was one of the Ronettes, one of the opening acts.
